The Dancenter has been serving Gainesville, FL, and surrounding communities since 1983. We are conveniently located in two locations and provide dance instruction for age 2 1/2 through adult in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Street Dance for Boys.
Our staff is excited to enter our 41st year and enjoy working with our students. As teachers, we are happy to share our love of dance and to dedicate our energies and teaching abilities to their development.

Dear Dancenter Family,
If this is your first year with us, Welcome to the Dancenter. If you are returning, we are so happy to have you back. We sincerely appreciate that you chose the Dancenter. This is our 40th year of pursuing our love of dance and sharing it with our students. We strive to continue Nina Cameron’s intent of dancing from the heart while being seriously fun and providing positive opportunities and memories for our students and families. The goal of our studios and staff has always been and continues to be to provide a family friendly studio with the highest of standards. If at any point you feel we are not meeting your goals or your expectations, please feel free to bring it to our attention. A signed letter or email will be appreciated and considered. Or, if you need to speak with me, please inform the front desk and I will get in touch with you. It is our sincere hope that each student will have a positive experience as we continue to “Dance from the Heart.”

Registration for 2022-23 Classes now being accepted! Classes start August 22!
The Dancenter team looks forward to opening the doors for our 40th Season serving the local community. Our founder, Nina Cameron, instilled in us the importance of community, passion and service. We are dedicated to providing quality training with our staff and visiting master artists along with multiple performance opportunities both on a concert stage, through competitions, and at local festivals. As always at Cameron’s, WE DANCE FROM THE HEART!
Visit our studios, meet our teachers and watch some dancers perform at Open House. Join us Wednesday, August 17, 4-6pm at our studio located in Ridgeway Village and Thursday, August 18, 4-6pm at our studio located in the Haile Village Center.
